Originally published in 1837 as part of a collection of fairy tales for children, the story follows the journey of a young mermaid princess who is willing to give up her life in the sea as a mermaid to gain a human soul.

This very delicate paper illustration was cut from a single piece of black paper and is a licensed Bramble Crafts original design.

Each piece is made to order, unique and available in A3 and A4. These paper cuts are sold UNFRAMED but we can frame on request, please do get in touch.
